Let talk about Brand. Maybe we just not realize that a brand of a product has a great impact to our live.

A few days ago I read in the newspaper about top 4 brands that give great impact on people lives and how the brands affected their behaviour.

The Most Inspired brand

1. Apple

Why: Well managed, original and marvelous design, ease to use, selective communications strategy and innovation

2. Nike

Why: singular voice across all their products, creating a cohesive voice. The brand could speak to the emotions of the games. It's just you will know it's a Nike ad before you see the logo!

3. Coca Cola

Why: The brand of "a refresher for the thirsty". Unique and has been around for over 100 years.

4. Google

Why: Customer centric, friendlyuser!

Brand that you can't live without

1. Apple

Why: Becouse Apple is just way of life! (hahahah)

2. Coca Cola

Why: Not just a drink but also a lifestyle! (oh ya???)

3. Google

Why: Can search all information from it ! (oh,,it's so yes for me as well! )

4. Starbuck

Why: It's just become part of life! (hoho,,,so metro!)

Yups, you can see that Apple, Coca-Cola and Google seem have a strong contribution to people;s live nowadays. Brand actually has it's value that defined as the sum of all earnings that a brand is expected to generate. Moreover, it's also have a great contribution for the product itself especially in terms of financial contribution!

So, what brand that actually is "SO YOU"? For me? I am not attached to any brand, I am soooooooooo ordinary LOL

2 Minggu berturut-turut gw hang out sama 2 cewek cantik berinitial jeng V and jeng K ^^V

2 Minggu yang lalu kita hang out bareng ke vivocity, windowshopping bareng (alias muter-muter vivo ampe elek), kongkow di cafe deket vivo (yang ada malah kegosongan gara2 sok2an sun tanning padahal orang asia) yang kemudian ditutup makan di Carl's Jr (pengalaman yang pertama buat qta semua makan di Carl's Jr,,,bisa free flow lhooo!!!!!!wakakak,,,norak banget yaaa =P ) Yang jelas yahhh,,,kita tuh jalan2 dari jam 2 siang ampe jam 11 malem,,,,mantaaaappp jeng!!!!,,,kayaknya sehari semalem juga kalo kita jabanin ga kelar2 tuh ngobrolnya,,,hahahaha,,,,,

Dan kita menamakan girls day out yang pertama itu : Phd outing dalam rangka merayakan Phd-nya Jeng V,,,congratz ya jenggggggg ^^

Minggu lalu,,,,,,kita pergi makan bareng lagi,,,nahhh,,yang kedua ini,,ngerayain ultahnya Jeng K (HAPPY BDAy jeng K!!!) moga2 lo suka kado dari gw,,,,dan dr Jang V tentunya,,,,selain ultahnya Jeng K,,,,,gw jg punya berita happy,gw dapet posisi di Frost and Sullivan! Wow,,,pokoknya kebahagian kita komplit banget dehhh,,,iya ga jeng?

Shocking truth

BEWARE OF FRIED FOOD

Ok folks, actually I really don't know whether it is real or nit, but I also seen the news on "my paper" a few days ago, please be careful.

Some of the stories:

This is a REAL TRUE STORY ...and also saw Loon told me it happened to her place when travelling to east Malaysia, Kedah ...Tunjang...i think.It happended to us too, in Perlis! (Titi Chai Kangar..the pasar malam area here they always selling goreng pisang -fried bananas in the afternoon ..)

Mom said , my uncle saw they fried the goreng pisang with added straw ( which we use to drink water) and melted into the Hot Oil before frying. That's why the goreng pisang, goreng ubi..etc all very crispy for hours....

And, my uncle could not explain why, and he asked them , they just keep quiet..and then when my uncle told my mom, and we realized this is how to make the foods crispy for a while.. My mom said, be careful of Thailand stuffs too

eg: Crispy Ikan Bilis, Crispy fried onions ..which if u leave in the open air for hours still crispy..

Like in Canada our place, that only rain 5-times or less a year or so, if we leave our bread in open air overnight, next day it will become really crispy...otherwise it will never..because the environment here is very dry.. but in Malaysia, it should not, because too moist there.

Please DO NOT Eat Crispy FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!! esp from the hawker!

try leave it in the open air for hours and see..

oh my my...

not only the chinese are wicked but everywhere... here the news comes...

i have been to cameron highlands with my family,

it was 3 pm ++ we are hanging around the market area, we saw many hawker stalls. Suddenly something attracted me...

At one of the stalls, there was a big wok of oil, there was a half 5 litres empty oil bottle on it!

It is melting slowly in the hot frying oil... i was freaked out! i thought it was an unintentional act by a 7-yr-old girl!! but when i looked at it closely, i saw a pair of chopstick stiring the bottle.. seemed like it was done purposely!

Immediately, i asked my family to come and check it out... at that moment, the parents' of the girl who sat beside, were looking at us ferociously.

Oh my god... they using melted plastic to fry food! The reason is the tit bits will not soften after placing for sometime due to plastic can been harden after melted.

experiment had been done as below: one without plastic food is kind of soft after a while ¼ add plastic, and fry another once again... it crispier than KFC !!

please stop eating this type of hawker's fried food...

ask your mum to fry if u want to eat.. this is their secret receipe ....

Nyepi~lonely

Selamat Hari Raya Nyepi Tahun Baru Saca 1930

putu ga Nyepi bareng keluarga lagi deh,,,hehe,,,dah hampir 7 tahun putu Nyepi jauh dari keluarga. 3 tahun hidup di asrama lembah bukit tidar dan 4 tahun disini, di Singapore.

Jaman SMA dulu sehari sebelum Nyepi kita ke Prambanan, sembahyang disana ama sekalian liat ogoh-ogoh. Oya, pada tau ga apa ogoh2?

Ogoh-ogoh itu adalah boneka raksasa yang dibuat dan diusung keliling desa sehari sebelum Nyepi. Itu maksudnya adalah perwujudan dari para Bhuta Kala di dunia ini. Kami, umat Hindu percaya akan adanya Bhuta Kala dan niscaya mereka tidak akan mengganggu jika kita juga tidak mengganggu mereka.

Perayaan Nyepi sebenernya adalah perayaan tahun baru, jadi kita menggunakan hari pertama di tahun baru untuk merenungkan perbuatan2 yang kita lakukan ditahun lalu,,,,kemudian memikirkan cara untuk memperbaikinya ditahun mendatang. Maka dari itu dibilang sebagai hari Nyepi,hari untuk menyepikan pikiran kita. Ada 4 pantangan di hari raya Nyepi:

-Amati Geni: No fire/light
-Amati Karya: No working
-Amati Lelunganan: No traveling
-Amati Lelanguan: Fasting

Tapi berhubung putu disini, di Singapore, pt cuman bisa puasa makan minum dan ga keluar rumah. heheheheeh,,,my bda my bad

yang penting kan udah ada usaha,,,hehehe,,,,terus kemaren juga sempet ke temple yang di chinatown. Ga nyangka disini jg ada sejenis OGOH-OGOH kayak di indo. tapi yang diusung itu sejenis dewa dewi kala, dan berkeliling templenya doang, hehehe,,,kemaren pt ikut2an ajah,,abis ga gt ngerti sih ama budaya Hindu-India disini.

Lumayan jd terkenang masa2 di Indo d,,,walaupun ga ada Ogoh2 beneran dan sendirian,,,,hehehehehe

Love was in the air!!!!!!oh yeah, during last Valentine’s day!

For me? It was irritating when some people asked me a few days before Valentine's day: “What will you do on Vals day?” when you got no plan for it at all!!! *sigh
Oh yaaa,,,,,sorry guys I’ve no plan for my last Valentine day (yayayaya,,,,,maybe I use my interview as the reason to hide from my “desperatelywantmyvalsday” mode).

Well, although there’s a survey by US-based consumer financial services provider GE money show that Singaporeans are Valentine’s day’s biggest spenders in Asia, I think it does not work for me, yet! Hahahaha, I am not too keen for that thou. So, it’s not that big problem to see all flowers hang around on others colleagues’ desks, 2 dozes of roses, a sunflower!!!! *sigh

From economic point of view, it’s also irrational though to buy a bouquet for $100 on Valentine’s Day where you could also buy it for $30 in other days. Hmmm,,,that’s sound interesting. Why a man should spend their money for that? Is it worth it? Well, I don’t know!

First time I though that Valentine’s day is use by girls/women to show their feeling to guys they like (well, maybe LOVE). And if the guy are keen into them, they will reply it on White Day which is 14 March. Ok, that’s what I read from comic books. But in Singapore? Such thing is uncommon.

I have asked one of my friend (gender: Male) who would to spend more than $200 for a Valentine’s day!!!!! WOW!!!! Start with a bouquet, present, and fancy dinner. Oh Gosh! Crap! (heart: I want a man do it for me as well!!!!!*sobbing ) Oh,,ok,ok,,,,back to my rational though! Well, rational think, it is not worth at all. You may celebrate Vals day everyday! Right??right? right?? Do you need special occasion to show your care to your lover?

But yeah, it’s just a two different things. Rational and Feeling. I might feel very super duper happy if someone do “a romantic” thing to me during Valentine’s day. But, deep down on my brain I might be think that it’s so stupid to spent double or maybe triple amount of money for a Valentine’s day celebration.

Hahaha, but wait! Is there any woman who doesn’t like to have a bouquet or a me2u teddy bear or a present or a candle light dinner during Valentine’s day? Hahahah,to be honest that’s my dream! I really want it, but rationally it is not worth.

If you think I'm desperate, you got it wrong! Hahaha, I am a very blessed girl. I got:

Yups, trust yourself!!! Sebenernya kekuatan itu ada dalam diri manusia. Entah kenapa outsider/social selalu distract. Sebenernya juga pengen nutup kuping kalo misalnya ada orang yang bergossip ini dan itu. Tapi entah kenapa kita malah ikut terjun didalamnya? Apa memang dorongan manusiawi? Hahaha,Ga tau d! Cuman kita sendiri yang tau jawabannya. Dan mulai tadi malam, gw bertekat! Harus rasional dan jangan mudah terjerumus dengan omongan orang. Kita harus percaya apa yang kita lihat,dengar dan rasakan pake akal rasional!!!

East Coast

Kemaren ga ada kerjaan and tiba2 Jeng K ngajak gw jalan sekalian nemenin temen-nya anak exchange dari Belanda. Ketemuan lah kami di cityhall. Ternyata eh ternyata ada si Lukas,,,haizzzz,,,jd temen SMA-nya Jeng K ini temen SMP-nya Lukas,,,,haizzz,,,dunia kecil bangettttt yaaaa,,,hahahaha

eniwei, we have such a fun time! jalan di East coast sambil main air,,bener2 refreshing banget,,terutama buat gw. Gw penat bangeettt,,,dari dulu gw pengen jalan ke pantai gini,,,,fresh banget rasanya,,,!!! Liat sunset,,,,,,,nikmat bung!!!! *sayangnya kita ga dapet ice cream .>.<

Abis dari east coast kita lanjut ke cityhall,,,ternyata eh ternyata lagi,,,ada fireworks jam 9.30pm!!!!! huaaaa,,,gw seneng bangeeettt,,,,padahal ya orang 2 tuh ampe heran,,,apa sih yang diliat di fireworks??? Ga tau aja,,bagi gw tuh indah bangett,,bagus banget,,,,kayak lukisan,,,,,,,huaaaa,,,,pokoknya gw ga bakalan bosen d ntn kembang api,,,daisukii desssuuuu ^^V

Pokoknya hari yang gw kira bakalan membosankan ternyata turn up to a very interesting day!!!! Thanks buat Jeng V, Michelle, Mecee (bener ga tulisannya?), Boo, Lukas!!!!
